I started drinking grapefruit juice to magnify Propecia, but now I'm getting heartburn b/c of the acidity. So I am looking for a way to reduce the acidic effect of the juice, if possible, w/o negatively impacting the juice's magnifying power. I was thinking of maybe mixing the juice with 8 oz of water. Would that work?
Thanks.

water is a decent buffer and will increase the pH

calcium tablets (TUMS) would be something else to try as well

I'm not convinced acid causes heart burn. Stomach acid coming into the essophagus cause it, and this is caused by the spinktor not working right. Try taking the grapefruit juice on an empty stomach, and eat smaller meals spaced further apart. Use water to rinse it down if it does come up. Prilosec will prevent it from coming back, if you want to go that route. TUMS will stop the burn fast.

its called ACID reflux disease, it is the stomach acid going up into the esophagus which causes it

caused by access acid, or the cardiac sphincter not closing totally
