Any runners use EMU Oil?

For knee pain? I've bought a jar of the Blue EMU but it's pretty expensive and it's only 7% EMU Oil.

I'm curious if just rubbing pure EMU Oil on the knee will help better than Blue EMU cream.

Perhaps mixing some EMU oil, and crushing some glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM tablets into some cheap cream base would also work?
