Ive got one in between my kitchen and my living room( lol, shitty :p)
However, I have made this thing that whenever I enter my kitchen I have to do 10 pull ups on it.
I think little insentives like this helps a lot.

Thought Id share :)

I have one, not installed now. Was installed years ago. I'd do 6 pull ups, 6 times a day. My max went from 10 to 16 in less than a month.

I think that supports the theory that you don't have to go to failure to grow, and your muscles are most willing to grow right after a workout, so it is best to do that is light enough you can do it often and not shut down your digestive tract so much. Obviously you have to do some more intensity if you want to build up your cardio. And 10 to 16 in one month is not much of an increase actually. I've added 35 pounds to my bench rep weight in the last 3 weeks.
