Any Of You Experienced Massive Shedding Before Starting Treatment?

Any of you guys who experienced massive shedding (like 200-300+ a day) before even starting treatment?

If so, what have you tried to combat it? Were you sure it was male pattern baldness causing it and did you see miniaturization? Also, did certain treatments not halt the insane shedding and did some stuff make it worse?
