Well Im 5 months in to using revivogen (in combination with American Crew copper peptides) In terms of progress this is what I can say

Positives

1) I have definetly seen regrowth of hairs right at the front of my hairline - I had a really noticeable spot that has filled in with very short hairs - whether this is the revivogen or the copper peptides I dont know.

2) My hairs have gone darker - before they were almost invisible but the ones that fall out look much thicker

3) I do still have hair falling out but its noticeably reduced - around 10 - 15 hairs per day - i used to loose much more then this and if i rub my head I dont get lots of hairs falling out like before

4) the copper peptide spray makes styling my hair so much easier

Negatives

1) I havent seen any huge regrowth - I had set my expectations realistically but deep down I wanted it to go REALLY thick - although I also just wanted to hang on to the hair I have as I would be happy with that

2) The top of my hair still looks fairly thin - its hard for me to say if its got worse or stayed the same - as Im sure you know perception of yourself is determined on mood etc - perhaps if I had a hair count done before I started it would have been more scientific - all I can say is by looking the top hasnt had any noticeable growth or loss either way

3) I was using nizoral but stopped because it was irriating my scalp

Conclusions

I cant say revivogen works as you know each person has their own experience of it - but what I can tell you is that I have just purchased another 3 months worth and do intend to use it for a whole year along with the peptides . I am currently trying to decide wether its just slowing the process down or has actually halted hairloss - I guess I will know after 12 months but 5 months in I can say I have had enough positive benifits from my regimen to carry on.

I am about to start using Dr Lee's spironolactone lotion as part of my regimen - just dont have faith in revivogen alone but ill stay with rev

P.S. Im also on Saw Palmetto, Green Tea and Lysine supplements.

hope that helps!

.... I was thinking of rogain5% instead of revivogen i think that will help coz i got hair but it is not so dense. I lost some hair gradually year by year so im trying to recover what I lost . By the way I hate capsules like propecia etc.. coz these thing definately will have side effects other than sexuall one.... something u will put in ur stomach for entire of ur life I guess that will have problems in coming year of the life.
so, if u use rogain or revivogen the sideeffects will be lessened.

What i got from ur reply that revivogen is not that worth, so what do u think of rogain5%.

Been using it 10 months now. My hair continued to get thinner. I didn't notice my hair start to get thicker until I added Folligen and the Lasercomb.

Aside from folligen 3x a week I think i'm done with topicals. Trying out propecia whenever it comes in the mail. Hopefully zero sides using that.

But if I experience any prolonged side effects or no significant thickening or regrowth off propecia then I will just get a hair transplant.

Don't go by me - but used religiously for 6 months, and still pretty often for a 7th month with no positive results.

My understanding is that the younger you are, the more hair you already have, and the sooner you begin using after the onset of male pattern baldness - the better a candidate you'll be.

(. . . which doesn't explain that one 40-something year old guy who claimed marvelous and outstanding results w/ zix)

I used Revivogen in the past. It's a waste of money. The ingrediants have scientifically shown some DHT inhibition but only on animals and in vitro..not on human. I think is a very weak DHT inhibitor at the most and it won't regrow anything. Especically not as a single treatment.
My advice? Stay away from it. I wouldn't call it a scam but a worthless treatment.

I will say that I do like the Revivogen shampoo quite a bit. Its very mild and tingly and does a good job at getting the sebum off of my scalp. The thickening conditioner works pretty well too, but I haven't used it in a while.

Y'know - I was a big Revivogen promoter when I first started using the stuff. I mean, based soley on the ingredients, the stuff seemed like a "can't miss".

And just because it didn't regrow my hair - doesn't mean it won't regrow yours.

BUT i if I had it to do all over again - and I was just starting out - I'd start out w/ ZIX. It's a lot less expensive and a lot of people seem to love it. Ya gotta make it yourself though. Good luck.

If you're interested, read up on zix, and get the recipe and purchasing information here:
