Any drugs for male pattern baldness with no sides in this world?

1. Propecia... didn't do anything for me, except gave me bad skin all over.

2. minoxidil... I have bags on my cheekbones and dark circles around my eyes. My mom saw me today and asked me what the hell I was taking since I'm bloated in the face and that my face is changing shape.

FFS is there anything that wouldn't mess up my appearance and at least maintain hair?

Apoc, how much minoxidil do you use and what brand? What is the percentage aswell?


I agree about the propecia and dutasteride as they cause me a fatter bloated face and circles uunder my eyes. They can change the fat storing pattern in your face while on them due to lack of DHT and rise in Estrogen. minoxidil can cause bloat, not fat gain. I though the minoxidil was causing the bloat unitll i dropped Proepcia for 2 months and my face started looking lean again. There are natural diuretic's that will help rid the water retention, and you have to drink a lot of water daily aswell.

But you could try a lotion called Remox 3 or 4. These might not have as much systematic absorbtion as a true solution would have.


Topical anti-androgens like Sprio, RU, work locally to block androgens and wont cause bloating. There's also Revivogen, Zix, Copper Peptides, Prox-P, Prox-N, Spin Trap C, Ect.

strange, me too my face got bloated, this started about 5 years ago. i thought it was the carbs i took. and i do have dark circles under my eyes but i dont think its due to rogaine at all tough.

Well I was using 2% Rogaine for 1 year. I stoped propecia after two years because it didn't do anything for me and I was loosing hair just as much as before if not faster. Besides I'd rather be bald than have pimples on my face. I decided that I would increase my minoxidil since I droped propecia and bought 5% minoxidil without PPG at http://www.minoxidil.com/ since the 2% one have me a bit of a redness above my forehead . I also buzzed my hair down to 1/4 inch. I was using minoxidil for about a month and was quite generous with the application twice a day. A week ago my mom told me that I look like a racoon and that my eyes are bloated. People in the office didn't notice but if I look in the mirror my cheekbones do look more inflated and I have dark circles around my eyes like I'm not sleeping much. I stoped minoxidil yesterday and will wait through the weekend if this goes away. Then I'm going to start applying it only two pumps on the whole upper part of the head twice a day. If the sides return I'll just use one pump since the stuff is greasy as hell and can be easily applied to a buzzed head.
