Any diffuse thinners with buzzcuts? If so, do you have before and after photos?

I'm thinking about buzzing mine, and I'm curious to see how it might look, and what other people thought after they went through with it.

I second that. It looks o k when it's buzzed all the way down to less than a mm. But anything past that it looks like sh*t. Then you have a couple months until it looks even passable. In short it's not worth the look.

Would either of you be willing to share before / after pics? If so, you could send them to me privately?

Why don't you buzz your own head and see for yourself? It will look okay -- the first 6-7 days then it looks comically bad after that.

You are wasting precious time that you don't have by NOT seeking treatment.

Part of me would like to buzz it, but I'm scared it will look terrible. That's why I'm checking with you guys. Thought it would be wise to do some research first.

I don't know what you mean by saying that I'm "NOT seeking treatment". I can't try finasteride as my wife and I are trying for children. As soon as we are successful, I will try it. I tried minoxidil (for about a year), but it didn't do much.

A few years ago, I went to two clinics in London. Both suggested that I try finasteride. One has recently suggested PRP, but I'm not blown away by the results. Same with Regenera Activa.

I have an appointment with my doctor to ask about oral minoxidil. I am constantly researching treatments and things to try. If you have any recommendations, I'm all ears!

yeah i'm a diffuse thinner that buzzes with a 1 guard pretty often

it looks perfectly fine, especially cause my hairline is still nw0 so it just looks like i shave my head for fun

not sure what the other dudes in here are talking about, but i have extremely nice facial features and eyes and it looks really good on me

if you're an ugly dude maybe it won't look so nice, but i don't have that experience

one thing you have to remember is that a lot of guys on here are ugly with or without hair

yes if you're ugly even with hair ofc having a buzzcut is not gonna make you look better

Ha ha! Well I used to get told that I was good looking on a regular basis, but that was when I was a bit younger (I'm now 38).

if i may ask what are you so worried about this?

you say you have a wife and are about to start a family and you're almost 40

it is not as if you are going out to the club every weekend and trying to pick up 20 year old girls

personally buzzcuts feel liberating to me, and at your age with more men losing hair than not, it would look totally fine

to be 100% honest if i were you i would buzz and never look back, and then in 10 years when hair cloning is widespread you can be 50 years old with a full head of hair again ;)

You may! I wish hairloss didn't bother me. I truly do. I am content with most aspects of my life, but hairloss is like a cloud above my head. I don't want hair so that I can go to clubs to pull girls. I just want hair! It might not be a rational fear, but it's there, so no point trying to hide it.

If I buzzed my hair and I liked the look, I would be delighted.

Ha ha! I like your gameplan. If only Tsuji would confirm a definite endgame.

i would suggest you to try a buzz soon and see how you feel about it

if you don't like it it will just grow back! you may be surprised and like it more than you think

i have read lots of stories of guys being afraid to buzz and then being pleasantly surprised with the results

also for buzzcuts being in good shape makes a big difference. i'm an athlete that has been going to the gym 5 days a week for many years now and being muscular with low body fat makes your facial features pop more and makes your jaw line look better
