I want every body to read that. Thats a fantastic piece of information. The moderator of this forum uses spironolactone, revivo, and nizoral. Read that link and find out why he has either stopped/slowed profoundly his hair loss. I personally believe a good receptor blocker (applied all over the scalp inlcuding donor area) plus a copper peptide might see a guy just starting to lose keep his hair most of his life.

Mike - I didn't read the piece - but just a reminder that everybody's different and responds differently to treatments. I was on spironolactone, rev, nizoral, and a few other things for about 9 months+, and my loss actually worsened over that period. I know that same combo has worked, and is still working for some (the lucky bastards) - but didn't help me.

"me, I didnt read the piece"----f*** thats typical.

Let me summarize it for you. TWINS, Goddamit. One with a full head of hair in a mental institution who was castrated, the other visiting him who was bald. The castrated one was castrated because back in 1942 they did that to mental patients to keep em' docile, were seen by Dr. James Hamilton.

Hamilton began to wonder if testosterone might have something to do with baldness, so he got permission to shoot up one twin with testosterone. The twin with the full head of hair WENT AS BALD AS HIS BROTHER IN SIX MONTHS.

I posted that so all of you who read online that shampoo causes baldness, cutting your hair causes baldnes, big pillows cause baldness, etc....will know its all BULLSHIT. DHT transcripition in androgen receptors of genetically disposed hairs cause baldness. Stopping this transpciption with an anti-andgrogen regemine is the best way to keep hair. You have to employ other stuff for lost/miniaturizing hair. Prevention is the best cure we have now.

There is a little more for ya' by the way. Hamilton again with castration/testosterone injections and ensuing baldness on castrates with nice hair.

The punch line? They start losing hair when testosterone is injected unless their family history doesnt have baldness. They gain muscle, deeper voices, some acne though even if they dont lose hair.

This is why so many steroid taking bodybuilders accelerate their baldness. More T in the bod can help make more DHT unless you stop the alpha five reductase enzyme from acting. Thats why dutasteride and propecia grow a little hair. Actually dutasteride grows a pretty damn good amount of hair.

What source did you use for your research? Internet / Google? How do you know the articles/web page you viewed had legit information versus opinions or made-up-theories?

Goddamit, what a stupid PURPLE-ASSED ORANGUTAN you are.

CLICK the f*****g link you piss-ant idiot. What web sites are listed in the search? regrowth.com hairstite.com hairsite.com parhahg.co.uk

parmagahg.co.uk hairloss.org regrowth.com arjournals.annualreview.org fao.org

I mean duh!!!!! I guess you think male hormones have nothing to do with hairloss then? what is it then.....? Shampoo, haircutting, pillows, sunlight, not enough sunlight, haircombing.

Apes bald, you can usually look at male babies and pretty much see what their hairlines are going to be according to doctors, 4 baldness genes found to date. ANDRO (male hormone) GENIC (genes) alopecia (baldness).

First of all, I don't mind the name calling. You can keep at it. I find it amusing that you get worked up so easily over the internet.

I never said male hormones are not a culprit for hair loss. I was just curious about this 'research' you have been doing for over a year.

Google search results don't always translate to legit information. In this case there is the '1' write up about what Hamilton did and all search results revolve around matching words from this '1' piece of information cited on multiple websites. As for that 1 piece of information - there are no photos, no specific details... so it's fair to say many would question the legitimacy of it.

Are you sure it isn't the food we eat?

No-one has said much about the subject of "Insulin resistance" in relation to DHT, that was in the mentalhospitaltestosteroneinjection article, which sublime couldn't trace. Food is a big blank for research to fill in, but more on an individual level, as our genetic/geograhpic backgrounds have great influence, probably, maybe. Anyhow, I am pleased to have a little hair on a former shiny top, a taste of hope keeps me going. Plenty of fruit, antioxidants and Omega 3 please.

Here is a pic of a woman who injected herself with testosterone and went pretty much bald, and grew a beard http://www.oprah.com/tows/slide/200509/ ... _107.jhtml

Gee, do any of you now doubt that its called ANDRO-GENIC alopecia for a reason?

By the way, here is a link from Newsweek Magazine with the info of Dr. Angela Christiano and her discovery of three baldness genes is mentioned therein in the second to last paragraph beside the words GENE THERAPY http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4115584/

Here is an article about the discovery of the fourth baldness gene, the androgen receptor gene that you get from your mom here http://www.dentalplans.com/Dental-Healt ... s-Mom!.asp

I shouldnt get so pissed at you guys and Im sorry. However, Ive been involved in a heated debate on another site with some idiots who think that shampoo causes baldness. The mendacity is almost satantic. I really think that wig saleman, snake oilers, and transplant mill salesmen plant bogus posts on websites to disinform newbies about good things like sprio, fluridil, propecia, proboably revivogen, nizoral, minoxidil, copper peptides so that they will try junk for a few years and continue to lose hair. That way they will be a potential sucker, er....I mean client by the time they are in their late 20s.
