Another finasteride-related topic

Hi

I am not on Propecia, but I have been taking 2x160 mg Saw Palmetto for a couple of days now + Borage oil. The reason why I am not going on finasteride is that I am scared of the side effects I am hearing about on propeciahelp. BUt also, let us just say that in 6-12 months the SP does nothing for me in terms of stopping further loss - then I would have wasted all this time on nothing.

I am really scared of finasteride, and each time I decide to start taking it, I chicken out again.

I don't know what I expect from creating this thread, but it feels good talking about it. If you have any comments, I am very happy to hear them.

Why would you take saw palmetto, which supposedly does the EXACT SAME THING AS finasteride, yet there is no scientifically proven benefit to taking it?

On top of that, we have no idea how to regulate how much you'd need.

just stop being a baby and get on it, if you have side effects you can quit and you'll be fine.

Saw Palmetto will do nothing, there is no natural cure for hair loss.
