Androgen Receptors' upregulation

hi everyone,
I was on Propecia for 5 or 6 years and I decided to quit last December because of erectile dysfunctionment.
I have no hairloss on the vertex and my hairline has receded about 2 or 3 inches compared to what it was when I was 25. I am 39 now.
for the first 4 or 5 months after I quit Propecia, nothing happened.
after 5 months, I started to get rashed on the head and my hair started to fall massively on the frontline.
then I started to grow hair on the chest and iit was also pretty massive.
we're early September now and the shed is still quite big, hair also keeps growing on my chest.

what I'm thinking now is that an AR upregulation process has started on me. not started but since I stopped using Propecia and my body decided to stimulate the androgen receptors, the effect is now quite big as Propecia is not protecting me anymore.
does anyone know when this upregulation will stop and if some of the hair I'm losing now (and growing on the chest) will grow again ?

I'm doing a lot of thinking right now.
should I go back on propecia before my hairline is destroyed ?
should I wait until I'm sure the upregulation has ended ?

thank you everyone for your help:)

Well you decided to quit because of erectile dysfunction. Did the ED just start recently? Did you go see a doctor to see if something else could be the cause?

as soon as I started to take Propecia, my erections were a little less stiff, nothing terrible though.
and then every now and then, something was not as good as before.
finally, last December I had some major ED, I was shocked. so I decided to stop taking Propecia because I always heard that it was ot very effective on the frontline which is where my hairloss is (along with sides).
from December, erections were sometimes a little better, sometimes very poor but I was slowly recuperating.
suddenty, 5 months after I stopped Propecia, my libido surged again and that was exactly at the same the rash on my head started.
my libido started to decrease again but it never went as low as December.

I've seen a doctor, he tested my testosterone and said it was OK but the level was still much lower than 5 years ago when I first made a test of testosterone level. the doctor said testosterone goes up and down so nothing to worry about. as for the ED, he couldn't say much and for him, there's no metabolical reason for my ED, it must somehow be psychological. I do have perfect erections now but they don't last enough and the doctor says that these erections mean there's no physical cause for my ED.

I took some pills (Cialis) and now they're working great but I definitely tdon't want to rely on Cialis to have good sex.
and now, I absolutely don't know what to do :/

Looks like it's time to try RU58841.

Finasteride does work on every male pattern baldness area, not only the vertex and the middle of the scalp, but you're probably aware of that now.

Also try to boost your testosterone a bit with frequent exercise, good sleep and a healthy diet.
