Amazing regrowth with Propecia alone.

I am sure most of you have checked out wallace's photos from http://www.propecia.com.

That guy had an amazing regrowth, which i think is not possible using Propecia alone. :shock:

Finasteride is more for maintanence.

In the picture on his hand, he was almost Norwood 6 and now hes NW2 i suppose.

Do you think Merck has presented a fake testimonial ?

I haven't been to that site in so long. It's good to see they added more testimonials. I always thought it was strange that such a big company, who is selling millions of bottles of finasteride, would NOT have more pics, etc. to show off, if the stuff really works.

I believe the testimonials by the way. I knew a guy who ONLY used propecia and Head and Shoulders for a year and regrow nearly everything, to where you would never know he was balding.

My hair loss is a bit strange and I'm hoping proscar will thicken things up for me. I started thinning over 5 years ago, but my hair loss situation has hardly changed. The front has receded slightly, recovered a bit, and is now essentially slightly receded. The back has thinned a bit more over the past 5 years, but not by much. And I've never found hairs in the drain, or run my hands through my hair and had hairs in my hand afterwards. I don't know what this means, but I hope since my loss is so slow it will give me a better chance.

some people say propecia cause side effects and finasteride doesnt, which one is the best ? i thought they are same lol, so which one is best finasteride or propecia or dutasteride , im confused.

propecia is the trade name for finasteride, so yes, they are the same.

dutasteride is a different drug. More powerful but probably with more side-effects.

No. I believe that's real. For one, he had a shaved head which made him look pretty bald but if his hair was longer in the 'before propecia' pic it would have not looked quite as bad.

Also some people do get great regrowth. Most get moderate to none and maintain.

Go watch the clip again. I don't think his head was shaved or buzzed before. It looked pretty thick on the sides and back, but completely shiny on top. I have a hard time believing that this guy grew that much hair in 1 year with Propecia alone.

wallace's, must have been one of the best responder of propecia. about the pics not being accurate we can't be that negative. atleast this time they actually showing proof. I guess wallace's DHT was the primary reason of his hair loss or it wasn't advance male pattern baldness. [/quote]

Deceptive? Eh. I think that terminology is a bit harsh, but I can see your point. You have to remember that Merck is a company and Propecia is their product. They are going to advertise their product in as much of a positive light (even if that means less light :lol: ) as they can.
