Am I wasting my time taking .5 mg finasteride??

Doctor really had no comment on .5 mg finasteride vs. 1 mg finasteride. Merk's original studies compared .2 mg and 1 mg dosage levels vs. DHT supression.

Anyone here taking .5 mg with success?

Am I wasting my time taking .5 mg?

5mg Finasterid is too much for your body. 1mg is enough for Kicking DTH , but the other 4 mg is excessive and too much for your body and hormones.

Tears ahh he met .5 not 5mg, anyway there are a few who use .5. Is there any real reason why you would not just take th 1mg?

You can't know if you will have side effects until you take the treatment. Many people for some reason decide that they're going to have them, before they take it, and adjust all kinds of things including dosage, before they even pop their first pill.

Take 1mg daily for 30 days. See how you fare on it. Its not like the side FX aren't reversible. If at the 30 day mark you're doing fine, you are likely to be fine at 1mg forever, and you'll have optimal chances of success with your hair as well.
