Hello, I was just wondering if my hairline was starting to thin or if it is maturing and what my options are.

I really hate delivering bad news but to me that looks like thinning. But frontal thinning is not that disastres and it mayb stop. How old are you?

Damn dude, I don't know much about mature hairline or thinning, but I think it is pretty clear that you are thinning in front. You could try seeing a dermatologist, but I would start thinking of maintaining the bald look.

I don't think I need to shave my head bald just because my front is thinning haha. Especially because my hair looks pretty good still. I'll see what a dermatologist can do though

Yeah sorry about the assumption. If you could give a full face photo (profile), then it would definitely aid.

You can still pull off most hairstyles...if not all. You only shave your head when your hairloss is so severe you cant have any decent hairstyle, which you still can.

Male pattern bladness sucks, but if I had to choose I choose the baldness that starts in front or receded temples. If you are lucky and can keep your crown you can still pull off many hairstyles. The ones that start at the crown or overall thinning are way more severe and you have almost no options than shaving your head.

It's not that bad dude, sure you are thinning, but I would not have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it (or posted on this domain). My best advice is to eat well and treat your hair with care.

Try getting a haircut that is more flattering I guess. Something that minimizes the balding appearance?

Should I go to a dermatologist though just to see if I'm balding? My mom mentioned that my hair has always been thinner at the front and I'm not shedding any more hair than normal. Almost no hair at all actually. What would you recommend?

Go see a dermatologist so you can be sure. Everyones hairline is different and the hair density and the way it grows are different for anyone. I have naturally thinner temples (even tho the left side is begining to show signs of real thinning). But maybe your natural hairline is that way.

Definitely thinning/balding. Look into your options and speak to a professional.
