I just recently turned 30, baldness does run in my family but males on both sides were bald by now. I'm starting to get a bit paranoid that I may be thinning. Here are some photos of my hair and hairline attached.
I should mention that I've started using testosterone which has prompted my paranoia despite not noticing any changes. I'm well aware of the risks. With that said, I'm obsessively looking for hairs now and notice a few on my hand each time in the shower or if I really try to yank for loose ones. The thing is, I do recall 5-6 years ago when I wore pomade in my hair that I would notice a ton of hair on the comb afterwards. Do I just have thick hair that sheds a lot? Or am I starting to show signs? How do I even tell?
I'd like to avoid using finasteride/dutasteride, I've read about the side effects and would rather have DHT in my system for the strength and sexual benefits. I started using 25mg RU58841 per day, no side effects so far but I'm not sure how effective that will be for prevention. Also using 1% nizoral every other day.
