hello. been pretty worried about this for a couple months now. I’ve seen some people with similar hairlines like mine and they say they’re receding. I don’t have any older photos but I think I’ve always had a big forehead. idk if im just paranoid or what lol. and the pictures on some angles look make it look crazy. when i shower i do notice some shedding but nothing crazy maybe like 5-6, some days more. I have a hair washing routine so I usually wait 3 days to wash my hair. I don’t notice any on my pillow either. My hair is pretty long so i know that also is a factor. full head of hair on both sides. however, my dad is receding, like Norwood 3. I’m planning on tracking this more but I’ve been for like 4 months now and I don’t see any changes. what do you guys think? any advice? thoughts? opinions? thanks.

Like you said no before pics so nothing to compare to. Doesn't look bad but if you see it getting worse get on propecia to slow it down.

Some people recede and it stays like that for years, they have male pattern baldness but it's just not aggressive. Your hairline is like my dads, he only just started thinning in his late 50s but he had a hairline like this for decades. You've got to start worrying if you see thinning behind the hairline or it continues to recede.

You are balding.

Yes, it could be stable, as others mentioned.

But you definitely do have some hair loss.

I would surmise you are likely to lose even more, though, as you clearly have some increased androgenic activity going on. Sebum and acne are primarily androgenically driven processes.
