Am I Maturing, Balding Or Maybe Just Receding? Pics Inside

So I've been having a bit of a freakout the last 2 days. I've always had high temporal areas on my forehead but I noticed the other day that one side was a bit higher and I now have an uneven hairline, or at least I think I do.
I'm 31 year old male and NO ONE in my family has ever been bald.

I'm pretty upset about this and I've only noticed this now, cause I've always had pretty high temporals anyway so I didn't really think much about it before.

Difficult to say . You might be a lucky case where your hairline recedes a bit then stops there...or you may be balding. Slick your hair back when wet and take pictures like that every few months + pictures of your crown.
I wouldn’t necessarily start any treatment yet given your family history.

This is a photo from just under a year ago. Idk if it means anything since I dont have my hair slicked back there. Are there any shampoos I could use that help? With biotin or something like that

Doesn’t help a huge amount mate . You can use some nizarol and take biotin but neither will do anything to stop hairloss if you have it. It’s basically finasteride or nothing .

Could this be temporary? Telogen Effluvium? Gee I hope so.

Doesn’t matter who you are and how good your hair is you’ll never get away with zero recession and for whatever reason it’s never perfectly symmetrical. Telogen Effluvium typically means loss of density - not recession . You just have to hope you won’t continue to recede . Crown seems fine for now .

Well obviously I never thought I'd have a full head of hair with not graying and receding forever. I hope it doesn't keep on receding any more for some years. My dad DID use a bit of rogain but not until his 50s and 60s and his crown didn't really go thin until he was in the latter stages of Alzheimers in his late 70s.
Are there any topical creams or something I can use to slow things down at least?
