Early baldness runs in my family. My grandfather on my father's side lost his hair early, my uncles thinned, my father lost his before 20 and my brother started losing his at 19! (he went on Propecia immediately and it completely stopped further loss). I am 21 and I'm afraid I may be starting to lose mine. I want to go on Propecia as early as possible before I have blatant signs of loss, but also want to be careful not to go on it unnecessarily. So without further ado, here is my picture. Please tell me all you can. I went to a dermatologist about four months ago and he said I was not losing my hair but oddly told me I should start using Rogaine (huh? If I am not losing my hair why bother using Rogaine?), but perhaps it has started since then.
