am i going bald?

hey im 17 almost 18 and i think i may be going bald. i had long hair all my life and never really knew what a hairline was or looked at mine. I just recently cut my hair to change it up a bit and it doesnt look the way i would like it to. like it goes in at the corners and just looks like im balding basically. its weird tho cause my dad is like 55 and has perfect hair except for a mature hairline wich is to be expected and my bro who is 2 years older than me has a perfect hairline. there is also minimal signs of balding in my family expect for some slightly receding hairlines here and there. heres some pics of my hair:

also i just started acutane, im like on my fourth day so far and ive heard it can aggravate male pattern baldness. should i still go through with it if i really am balding?

those pics are terrible for diagnosing hair loss issues

however it looks like your fine on the hairline

and the fact your dad and bro have no signs of receding more than NW2 i think your ok


even at your age, it is very unlikely you are experiencing male pattern baldness
