I'm a 19 year old Asian male, both of my grandfather's have nearly a full head of hair (of course with some thinning/receding), and my dad is in his mid 50s with a full head of hair. My hair is very stiff/thick and I've had long hair for as long as I remember so I never really paid attention to my hair density/thinning/balding. I recently decided to try short hair and I noticed that my scalp is visible through my hair, and that my hair part seems to reveal quite a bit of scalp. The thing is, I'm not sure if my hairs just always been low density because I've always kept it long.
I've taken pictures from many different angles, some with wet hair, some with soaking hair, and some with dry hair. From what I'm seeing, my hair just seems to have overall low density and my scalp could be very visible from many different angles under certain lighting conditions.
