That is your hair whorl god damn it! We all have thinner and less hair in the whorl and it shine direct light like the way you took the picture.

Nobody can tell you for sure if it will be a problem. Right now I would probably just keep an eye on it, if you notice it getting worse I would use Minoxidil. It is possible it is the beginning of a problem as the thinness is spreading/moving out from the center.

I don't think that's a hair whorl. Could be wrong but seems like that whole sector is thinning a bit. Either way, just keep an eye on it for now

Pretty sure you are thinning. Either get a trichoscan or buzz down to a 3 or 4 (much more obvious at this length)

While I'm liable to agree with some of the posts about it potentially thinning; I took a photo this afternoon and noticed that it was far less severe than I had first thought. With that in mind (mind the weird faces in the mirror), still going to get it checked. Just thought I should note that you cant really see it from the back or front, it's only noticeable through cameras or if you're taller than me

If you are not losing hair in the shower or having an itch, you don’t need to worry. I’d worry more about that disgusting bowlcut of yours that needs to be eliminated ASAP.

You're thinning, your hairline is receding if I'm correct from looking at this Pic, get it checked by a professional and start finasteride as that's your best chance at keeping your hair.

I think it is balding. You lost hair around whorl so it looks like a bigger whorl but its not.but I don't think it is matter of much concern because you are just 18 and it is difficult to tell if it is male pattern or diffuse type balding. I thing you have diffuse thinning which is common.
