Am I Going Bald :(? 21yo (pictures)

It looks even worse when i take pictures of it ;/ :thumbdown2:
So should i start a medicine or whatever? im 21.5 years old.
My scalp has also been itching but just for the last 3 weeks or so.
Will it be alot worse in like 2-3 years?
also on the sides were it is receding i get small hairs like 1-1,5 inch... what does this mean?

I'd say you are .
Try to compare pictures of your hairline but from what I see here on the pics hairs seem to be getting weaker in the front part and it looks like you have receeded .
If it is not aggressive start with minoxidil , if it is you should consider finasteride also .
Go see a derm to assess the situation and try to evaluate how much you shed if you do .

For a starter I'd consider topical spironolactone with minoxidil .

Take also better pics of the temples , with a little more ligth and from up close ( but not too much )

-Does Finasteride have nasty side-effects? and/or very expensive?
And do you need doctors recipe for it?

-Does using gel/wax make you bald faster?

1.Sides although rare according to Merck,can be really nasty if you are one of the unlucky ones.The good news is that they often disappear after the drug is stopped or with the use of Zinc and Enden's ideas.The Generic ones are butt cheap

2.No using Wax wont make you bald faster....It can cause hairfall on its own especially if its of poor quality and adds too much stress on the hair roots.After I started seriously receding[at about 16-17],I stopped using any hair styling agent as it made my hair look really thin.Right now the only stuffs that I use for my hair are Spectral DNC and Nizoral 2%.
