Balding does run in the family to some degree. My mum's dad was bald on the top. He had a hair-transplant though and my uncle (her brother) is bald. Also, SOME of my mother's mum's brothers are bald.

My dad on the other hand has a full head of hair as well as his dad.

I will mention that after shampooing my hair it does feel a lot thinner and I can see my scalp when it's wet and dry. But then, after a few hours it's not visible...when it's completely dry.(Not sure if that was a thing before.) But I guess it's due to it being stripped of it's natural oils and what not. Also, I have experienced scalp tenderness (sore to touch in some areas.) I used to buzz my head without the guard and wondered if that had anything to do with it.

Cheers guys.

I don't think there's anything to be concerned about but you should ask for a second opinion or see a dermatologist just to be sure.

If you are shedding or experiencing hairloss in the shower or in tha bed on pillows then get on finasteride 1 mg daily

Would you say there's hair loss from what you can see? I only am concerned about the part at the back. I guess everyone has that though.
Your hairline and the hair thickness are fine to me from the photos

Even if you are balding it is not aggressive at all, just what people call mature hairline, my assumption is you will be max norwood 2 by the time you are 45 and I think that is enough time for a balding man to have the joy of hair.
