Am I Balding? Need Advice And Help Please

Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I've had this problem since i was about 16 4 years ago, I sometimes have extrem hairloss over a few months which then stops and the hair usually grows back after a while. Las year it was pretty bad and the hair on the back of my head was so thin i had to shave it bald and now my hairline looks like it's receading. My cousins are also balding so there is a history of hair loss in my family. But since my hair usually grows back i am wondering if it's actually hair loss or something else? I got Ketozolin from my Doctor last year which helped a lot but now it just made it even worse. Need advice
