Impossible to tell from that picture, bro. The flash can make the photo of a person with really thick hair see through to their scalp. You can take pictures of it and post em on here til the cows come home, but even the most knowledgeable dudes on here cannot tell if a dude on the fringe is truly balding just by looking at a few pictures. We can all take our best guesses to come to a consensus, but that's the best you're going to get. The only way to get peace of mind, one way or the other, is to go see a dermatologist in your area with a lot of experience in male pattern baldness. They can be a much better judge as to whether or not you're balding because they not only have the proper equipment to test for such a thing, but they also have a lot of knowledge in the field of male pattern baldness. Best case scenario, you go to one, waste $90 or so on the visit to have them tell you that you aren't balding. Sounds like a trip well worth it to me, no? Worst case scenario, your hair is starting to thin (balding) and the doctor can hook you up with all the info you need on treatment as well as a prescription for said treatment. If this is the case, you have caught it early AND -- bonus -- the hair you're worried about getting thinner (the crown) is the hair that is the most responsive to current hair loss meds. In either scenario, you'll at least know for sure and can go from there.
