Am I Balding? 27 Year Old Male. Help Please.

Hi thanks for taking the time to read my post. I'm 27 and wondering if I should start a hair loss medication. I know I'm receding at my temples but I'm starting to freak out about my hairline receding but I don't know how bad it is. I can't think of one single person in my family that doesn't have a full head of hair no matter the age. So I've always been confident about not losing my hair until recently. I do have short hair so it doesn't take much to see my scalp no matter what part of my head it is. I don't know how much of a difference short hair makes. Here are some photos. Should I start medication? Am I even balding?

But honestly it looks thick, and I would only monitor at this point, keeping pics for yourself.

I think it’s receded a bit, but your hair is really good for 27. The reason it’s easy to see your scalp is because you have naturally fine hair (like me) but your density looks good man. If you want you can get on finasteride since you’re a bit older I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea. I don’t think you need minoxidil though.

upload some older pictures from 1 or 2 years ago. if you just started balding there would be a significant change in the past 2 years.

good density on the top but you can always pull back the 2 corners of your hairline and take pictures monthly to monitor.
