are u alopecia totalis or alopecia universalis or extensive alopecia or your doctor suggested you to use oral steroids i think you must have a choice change becouse clinical trial says prednisolon after stopped high relaps rate is waiting for u somany doctor uses this regime prednisolon daily pulse in one study 18 people treated with prednisolon and when they gave it up %100 of patient show relaps ...but there is some new regimes whivh tried in india they have less side effects and less relaps rate in one trial 24 patients treated with dexamethasone oral mini pulse(indian doctors gave this name to this regime)and only one case had relaps in other trial 14 people tried with betamethasone again oral mini pulse and shown one case relaps...there is one person who is alopecia universalis treated with dexamethasone pulse in turkey 5 years ago he didnt had any relaps still. and he didnt give answer to the other treaments if you have to use oral streoid pls tell this regimes to your doctor may be he dont know becouse somany doctor doesnt know ....
