I have oily itchy scalp without dandruff, i read that using topical with alcohol can make my scalp dry which i guess is not good :). Any suggestions in preventing this problem, maybe to put something after the topical.

I don't know if my scalp is dry or oily, but I suffer of seborrheic dermatitis so I guess it's oily. Well, foam doesn't irritate my scalp but liquid minoxidil did, and so does nizoral.

I still do research about my regime and i plan to start from new year...

Well two years ago i have some try without knowlage with 2% minoxidil, nizoral, selsun

I remember everytime when i put the minoxidil my hair turned more greasy haven't any bad reaction maybe more itchy, nizoral and selsun give me the worst shampoo experience because hour after using them my scalp went oily like haven't been washed for month. Well i'm also newbie with those scalp problems but like my derm said one month ago i'm not for nizoral, i'm still not sure about sb but like i said only oily scalp and little bit itchy.

It possible my scalp to get exremly dry after i use alcohol based product i guess there must be some thing that can control, maybe jojoba oil? I've read that people with oily scalp shoud avoid conditioners, so maybe jojoba can save my scalp from drying after using sls or alcohol.
