So I just came back from my dermatologist and he is such a fool it disgraces me. Well he seems only semi-educated and a really unpleaseant man to deal with. So I come in, and basically wait until hes done with whoever to come in and see me...I say hi he says hi...he asks me how is the Propecia going...I'm like well it seems to have somewhat slowed down and stabilized...hes like good job you nailed the term on the head...stabilization is key...then he basically writes me a prescription and is ALREADY ABOUT TO SET ME OUT!!! I ask him if I have diffuse hair loss or male pattern baldness...virtually all you guys and myself looking @ my pics have said I have diffuse hair loss...THIS GUY TELLS ME, no its all in your head you have more crown thinning!! WTF!!! havent you guys seen I also have diffuse thinning in my front!!! I ask about DHT..he says its an anabolic steroid and all the hubbaloo which all is consistent with common knowledge until he tells me Propecia BARELY HAS a SYSTEMIC EFFECT but works a lot better in the scalp inhibition!!! can you say MORON!!!! Furthermore, he told me he is very close to the people who work with hairmultiplication, and says its anyone's guess but says it's a VERY FAR ROAD FROM IT!!! Every question I asked he seemed impatient and ready to say bye without even asking to see if I have more questions!!! GRRR He gave me another 6 month prescription, but I am contemplating throwing it out and getting it from another dermatologist JUST OUT OF PRINCIPLE! In any case, the least I will do is not see him again for the next refill, I will get it from a I hope more educated and pleaseant derm. Rant OVER!
