Is it really true that you have much less chance of success with any of the "big 3" when you are older? You see, I'm 36 and I first noticed the first signs of hair loss in my early/mid 20's, I've only considered doing something about recently because I've had a very slow hair loss and its taken over 10 years to progress to a Norwood 2/2.5. I'm a bit worried now that even though my hair loss isn't as severe as some people I may have left it too long and the likes of finasteride and Min won't be effective.

I dont know if its necessarily an age thing. I think it really matters how aggressive your hairloss is. I also think alot of older guys try it when there hair is in really bad shape. Like there hairloss has advanced so far theres only so little finasteride and minoxidil can do. So I think its a case by case basis. If yours is moving slow it definitely will help. Plus those two are all we got.

Nothing to do with age but more about male pattern baldness aggression level like the other poster said. I'm older than you and finasteride + minoxidil + Big 3 shampoo work great for me while my brothers are thinning. Go all in, bro.
