still havnt answered my Question

Okay, my mistake, I guess I wasn't being clear. Let's start over.

After using minoxidil once a day for 6 months is it safe to change to twice a day??

Yes, why wouldn't it be safe? You are supposed to use it twice a day. It's common knowledge. I have seen other posts of yours where people were telling you to use it twice a day as well.

I have not seen any real results on once a day

Use it twice a day.

Should i bump it up to twice a day?

Use it twice a day.

or keep waiting..

Use it twice a day.

Using minoxidil once a day you are not optimising its use. For optimal results it should be used twice per day, everyday. Using it once a day should still be effective though but it may take longer for you to see results.

Some people do advocate using lower amounts of minoxidil initially, ESP if you are generally happy with the hair coverage you have now. So starting out using it once per day, then switching to twice if you feel your hair loss is progressing. Then later increasing the strength. This method would buy time IMO.

You may experience a temporary shed by switching to twice a day though.

Good luck.

Yes, those times are sufficiently apart.

I thought I might add this:

Minoxidil hair growth – 3 weeks to 9 months

In two studies on minoxidil side effects after the initial one - it was found that every patient developed hyperyrichosis. (Devine, Fife & Trust, 1977; Dargie, DoUery & Daniel, 1977)

Jacomb & Brunnberg (1976), who did that initial study admitted that ‘the true incidence may have been higher'. (of hypertrichosis)

I’m pretty sure that minoxidil actually works for everyone but people require different doses for hair growth.

Higher doses = higher chance of hair growth = higher chance of sides

Other side effects of minoxidil – fluid retention, tachycardia, nausea, fatigue, dyspnea, pigmentation, coarsening of facial features and gynaecomastia.

hopefully 1 ml twice daily will work for you + u have shorter hair so more will get u your scalp

Pretty sure you're supposed to leave at least 8hours in between minoxidil doses... less time than that and the second dose will not be effective + you may leave yourself at increased risk of sides.
