Good Day for all the people here ....this is my first post and I need Help before starting to use rogaine Im 29 years old
my left side of my front hair Area to the left temple began to thin 2 months ago then my right temple hair began to thin 3 weeks ago
but Still my hair is thick in the right front Area
Anyway yesterday I've bought Rogaine foam 5 % but Im hesitant to use it because I've read that once stopping it the hair will fall
my question is .....first of all I didn't lose hair .....my hair just got thinner on those areas so I wanted to use Rogaine to make the thinning Area thicker and then Rogaine Mission is done ......but from what I read is that there's an inevitable shedding phase in which the targeted hair follicles will shed the natural hair
and Regrow a new (Rogaine induced ) Hair
so is that true ? should I use it or not
and thanks

temporary shedding is often triggered with minoxidil before regrowth. If you have early male pattern baldness, I would really recommend you start finasteride, not minoxidil. minoxidil does not work longterm like finasteride does. I only recommend minoxidil for people in the moderate stages of hairloss who are already on finasteride

If you start minoxidil you will need to keep using it to keep the hair it will never be a case that "rogaines mission is done" and you can stop using it. As zzzz said you should really start with finasteride first.

a lot of ppl seem to be really concerned with the process of applying rogaine- for me it adds a total of 5 minutes to my day between applications and once you get used to it its just a normal routine like brushing your teeth that you become completely used to. i think it has helped slow down my thinning and im considering finasteride to maximize what I can do on my end

5 minutes a day is 30 hours a year

Shaving, brushing teeth, shower, it's just another step lol 2 minutes in the morning, 2 minutes in the evening. Just trying to reassure people who want to start but are concerned with being tied to the process of applying it
