I have been reading a little through the success stories and it seems a lot of people are with success are using propecia, monoxidle, and other things in combinations. I am leaning toward trying them. I am 25 years old in the military and I started noticing going bald before I was 18. I cant remember the last time I went out in public (work doesnt count) without a hat on. I shave it bald but still feel the need to wear my hat. I am pretty much all gone on top and starting to on the top toward the back now. I dont think there is likelyhood of success for me and I almost considered a transplant until I read some things about Bosley. I plan to try propecia, monoxidle, and maybe something else along with the laser comb which my father bought for me. I really hope to see results and hope to someday be able to go out with out my hat with pride. I dont feel i look good bald and i cant lie and say this experience at the age ive been suppose to be having the time of my life has not brought on a lot of depression and has been a severe hit to my confidence. If anyone has advice off of what they tried let me know. Thanks

Also, I plan to keep my head shaved for a while while i try some things I mentioned. This shouldnt be an issue right?

nope, keep shaving your head, it may help you to cope with the ups and downs that sometimes go along with hairloss treatments, because you won't notice the ups and downs, only the long term results (which have about a 90 percent chance of being positive).

the more you have your head shaved..the more you'll get used to it. Its super important that you find a good look for you with the shaved head. A strong, toned body definately helps. Before starting the treatments..you have to set your expectations. YES..you MAY get some improvement, but if youre unhappy with maintaining what you have, you may want to start looking into a hair transplant. But in no way should you set yourself up for expecting a head of anything close to your 17 year old hair. I for one find it very exciting to wake up and not see less hair..but actually more than I had before. I think most of the people that complain and b**ch on here about stuff not working are people that expect a full regrowth (at least in many cases.) My hair looks like crap...but its WAY better than it was before. I can keep it shaved and it doesnt look like I'm bald...anything much more than that is askin gfor it.
