Advice Please Using Finesteride 7 Years

Hi everyone I posted on here like 7 years ago as I was worried I was balding (my dads bold, my moms brother is bold) my hair was looking bit thinner on top, I got propecia tablets and been taking a tiny bit of tablet every Day for first 4 years it has halted my balding as I'm now 30 and still have my hair but I did get lazier with it and started taking a tiny bit like once a week and I can see it's thinned out all over the top, not too noticeable though, my question is am I ok taking finesteride every 3-4 days is it as effective as I've noticed I'm slowly diffusing? Anything I can do about this?

Take the 1mg dose daily and report back in a year.

Is there a reason you only took a small amount of the tablet each day? Nobody can really answer your question, you may need to up your dosage to the recommended 1mg a day and see if it halts your hairloss. The most important thing really is that you are consistent with your treatments. If you have been taking just a tiny bit once a week I highly doubt it's doing anything for hairloss at all.

I have been taking a small amount every 3-4 days as I have experienced lower libido and also just to save keep buying tablets to be honest. If I take 1m a day that will hammer through my supply and I'm in UK so not easy to get, could I go to 0.50mg a day so half a tablet a day that should be effective?

There is no magic book with answers to how person x will respond to a drug dose. Its all guessing. Can .5 a day have an effect? Sure it does. Will it stop your hair loss the same as the 1mg was? Who knows maybe. Try both and see.
If you went back to what worked before the 1mg then you know it will work.
