Dear mates,

I am 39 years old, used finasteride and minoxidil in the last 5 years with many breaks. I have not always been 100% disciplined but I have done my best considered a very busy lifestyle.
I have made large use of concealers and that helped a lot.
Right now I feel a bit exhausted as I believe nothing makes any difference anymore.
I am thinking about FUE or hair system but I really don't know what to do.
Any advice is really appreciated
Thank you

If you didn't experience side effects with finasteride, you should give dutasteride a try and also start back up with minoxidil. Assess your progress with those two over the next 6 months or so and then decide if they have helped your hair or not. Try to stay consistent with both.

Donor area looks thick if you want to go that route, a hair transplant looks viable for you. You could always try something like dutasteride too.. although I'd be wary of using something like that, maybe topically would be better.

Thank you all for the advice!
I will probably go for the FUE before the summer.

Make sure you go for a reputable doctor.. search around online and what other people's results were. good luck.

edit: and also post your results for others to see 4 months post operation

I was thinking about Feriduni.
I live close to Belgium, although he is quite expensive.
Is it ok in your opinion to go for the surgery without a live consultation? He has only seen pictures..
Thanks again, I will send updates after the surgery

if they have a good reputation it's probably fine. I never had one myself but if I ever feel I need to have something done like that in the future, I would be very meticulous and thorough before choosing a hair transplant doctor. no problem bud
