Acne From Propecia

Been on Propecia for about 4 months now and it has def made my acne worse. In the winter I would hardly ever break out. Now I always have pimples. Will this go away? Is there anything I can do besides normal acne treatments?

It wouldnt bother me so much but Im 27 years old and most people my age dont have acne

finasteride increases testosterone levels, which can cause acne. Try Retin-A and washing your face 2x/day.

I got it on my back but it's going away now that my body has adjusted to the finasteride. Give it some time it might dry up.

Yep. I've noticed this problem to a certain extent. I very rarely get Acne (I'm 20) but over the last 3 months being on Propecia it has increased a bit, more spots than normal particularly along my forehead. It's partly one of the reasons why I'm considering going off it for a while.
