After 5 months of accutane use my hair started falling out all over the scalp. It's not male pattern baldness, progressivly my hair thinned out, but I payed no attention to it. After visiting the derma I was told to take propecia and viviscal, but to my understanding Propecia is for dht related hair loss not an overdose of vitamens A. I was also given a steriod injection to my head, and was told to not take nizoral or Minixidol since it makes thicker strands fall out.
Does anyone have any advice or input on what my derma said?
