Accutane after transplant??

Does anyone know if Accutane (the high dose vitamin A acne treatment) would harm the new grafts a few weeks after FUE surgery? .... or are the new transplanted grafts as strong as the existing hair by this time?

My doctor has put me on a very low dose of 20mg every other day and I would like to start as soon as possible but I am concerned that the medication may harm the new grafts.

If so, at what point would it be safe to take the medication and not harm the new grafts?

I'm healed and had FUE so wound healing is not an issue.

IMO, I think you will be fine at this point post-op. But remember, we are not doctors here so it's best for you to contact or e-mail your hair transplant surgeon to get his opinion. :wink:
