Got a prescription for finasteride last year, but was weary about the sides and really put off at the price (bout $900/yr). But now I feel like I'm fast approaching a 3V and I've got to do something.

Just wondering how many people here use Fincar and have seen results with it, and whether Cipla is a reliable brand.

Hi rorsach.

Most people here who use Finasteride don't focus so much on the brand of medication. Cipla is a reliable brand and Fincar is legitimate containing real Finasteride. As long as the medication is genuine, not expired, and is coming from a safe and reliable manufacturer, then you'll be perfectly fine.

For hair loss, take the 5 mg tablets of Finasteride, cut them into fourths, and take 1.25 mg daily. It's a lot cheaper using this method and you'll save money.

buy the generics online at Costco or Walmart websites or without a prescription at inhousepharmacy.vu. It will cost under 50$ a year, not 900 a year.

Sides effect only a couple percent ad e temporary. 90% will maintain longterm (5+ years) which is pretty great results

I had planned on getting the 5mg and quartering them, seems like plenty of people are going this route, and it'll save me a little more money.

Was thinking about ordering from ADC, seems to be the cheapest I've found so far.
