I’m a natural worrier, and take medication for anxiety. As such, the mental sides of Finasteride are the ones that concern me the most. I’m about a week into .5 mg, and starting to have that compulsive inner-voice asking “am I more anxious? uh oh do I feel depressed today?”

Pushing through, so far it’s nothing that couldn’t be explained by the nocebo effect. My goal is to forget I’m even taking the stuff. This sort of thing happens every time I take new medication of any kind, and I take several for various conditions, and I eventually stopped worrying about all of them, some of which actually do carry non-negligible risks.

Here’s hoping I can do the same with finasteride, or if it does actually start giving me sides, I can pinpoint it accurately and stop. Ok, ramble over.
