A strange Question (Propecia Confusion)

You know , propecia(or proscar i dont remember) was used on Prostat cancer and after that Doctors realized the side effects as "hair growth on face as beard or hair" .

My question :

Does Propecia Grow beard on face and hair on top of the head as an side-effect?
or it stops the beard growth by blocking DTH ?


I have very little amount of beard only on my chin thats why im asking it.

Finasteride (proscar/propecia) does not have any measurable effect on beard growth. But if it did it would probably retard growth in the beard.

Minoxidil grows hair on body as well as the head due to its systemic absorbtion.
