Thinking about maybe starting finasteride... But the side effects I read about are bugging me.

I've been on propecia (merck brand -1mg) for over 9 years. No sides effects at all.

My penis is still in the same place, still hard as usual, not shrunk and has not changed in colour in anyway.

No other side effects either such as breast enlargement either.

Unfortunately, only a small unlucky few do experience side effects. So the sensible call is, if you suffer from this, just quit. It takes roughly 2 months for general side effects to disappear and all others in 6 months.

And no... you won't change to a woman either.

Yeah, I've maintained most of it. Only the temples area has receded a bit in the last 2 years.

No regrowth.

Side effects are rare, and usually goes away after a while.
And if you get side effects, they will disappear when you quit the drug.
