A question on how to apply minoxidil

Basically, I have lots of miniaturization along the front and temples. I apply about an inch wide strip of minoxidil covering all the areas between and including my temples. Imagine the M, I cover the lines of the M.

My question is: I'm supposed to use 1ml of minoxidil twice a day, but I find 0.5ml to be enough to make the area wet. I'm not being stingy or anything, I'm not sure if I should use the whole 1ml or just use enough to make the area wet and massage it into the scalp?

If you put .5 it will dry faster and probably won't drip and when it dries it won't look so bad.
If you put 1 it will take ages to dry, it will drip(I apply exactly how you want to apply) and your skin will look greasy and you'll have residue.

Oh..and the more you apply the more effect it has.

You think so? I suppose there is a saturation point after which applying more doesn't have increased effect. That's the reason why I was asking. I'm not sure if I reach that point.

Yes, there is a saturation point...but apart from that, there are some folk of this forum who applied a lot for some time,and they had hair everywhere.
