Hello! Like many others, I am drawn to these forums because of pure paranoia of lighting which has it constantly at the back of my mind.
In the pictures attached, three of the photos are taken with intensive flash of my front, one of my crown and one of just my head. And then also a picture attached of no flash but semi-lighting of my crown. I spend endless hours studying my hair because I go the toilet and the lighting is set up so I can see my scalp through my hair. I also feel like I have the head structure of someone who is going to have a haircut like Mr Burns, notice how the sides puff out a bit, what I'm saying is, you could imagine the top if it were bald.
I have a receding hairline and a widows peak, I shaved my widows peak to see whether or not I was balding and to my surprise, it grew back.
My dad has a receding hairline, however he is not bald and has what my amateur opinion thinks is 'fine' hair, you wouldn't consider him balding. A picture of his hair is also attached. My grandad on my mothers side didn't start losing hair until he was at least 50, and now he has no hair in the middle, and the sides are thin. I'd like to think I have my dads hair because of the similar hairline. However, I'm not sure if my dad's balding or just has a very fine set of hair, because my dad's father had a full set of hair, and so does my dad's brother.
Anyway, thank you for reading and any thoughts would be deeply appreciated.
