I have slowly become less dense over the years....I really have not seen significant regrowth, if any at all. I have also been on propecia for about 6 years. Bottom line is the thinning has slowly degraded but has not been halted. I have severe hairloss in my family (older brothers). Without the medications I would be in bad shape. Had a hair transplant of 300 grafts in 1997 which helped the frontal some. Couvre has saved my life for the last 12 years. When hairloss is agressive...there is really no stopping it, just slowing it down, it appears.

Why not get more transplants? Is it just a financial issue?

Well my entire head is diffuse...will still have to have Couvre so why bother...plus do not want to go though the operation and deal with the sore donor area which itches for a year healing and the cost does not help. Plus the hiding the grafts for two weeks is a pain. It is definately not easy.
