I know that a microscopic hair and scalp analysis, is good to detect the difference of thickeness of DHT affected hair and none male pattern baldness affected hair and for the donor hair. but is it possible to see the resting phase hair from telogen effluvium? if so maybe this can be a helpfull tool for those who suspect or believe one has Telogen Effluvium. anyone has any knowledge about this tool. thanks

Not sure, I imagine that the follicle of any hair that has fallen out has by definition entered resting phase, so I'm not sure if looking at the hair would enable you to distinguish between normal resting phase and Telogen Effluvium.

We need a Doctor on this one, why not try emailing dr. Proctor or Dr. Lee.
