I realise even at reading these post’s implies a considerable concern for the condition of ‘male pattern baldness’. It’s a obvious point, but if its in your genetic make-up to lose your hair now, if that’s that’s what this mechanism has in store for you, if that’s your real concern with that which is ‘you’, please keep some context.
I am only 22.I have had hairloss since I was 17, yes I am finally seeking treatments for it. But I know how easy it is to obsess about this type of problem. I had really bad acne as a teenager, which I would have done anything to rid myself of, which I felt my g.p. (am in dear old Blighty) treated flippantly. But increasingly I have identification with the significance/context issue of the condition.
A best friend was recently in a severe car accident, he was lucky to survive, others in the vehicle didn’t.
He is having to go into MASSIVE (I use the caps lightly) reconstructive surgery to give him something LIKE a “NORMAL†face. I know there are counter arguments, I know its an extreme case, I know that I would give far more than I consider its probably worth to have a full head of hair.
I hate to post the question because I wish it to be so painfully obvious: what about all the children suffering from incurable disease, what if it is(and who would give more) a curable illness and as a side effect, you LOST YOUR HAIR. I want the treatments I use to work, that’s why I choose to use them, but ifs it’s all the dice of circumstance can play is that I have a total-slap-head/have-you-thought-about-renting-that-space-out-to-an-ad-company head: frankly, f*** IT.
