A new question about DHT in the scalp..

My question is...

If, watching the diagram of the single dose of Finasteride, the dht in the blood it remains low in order more than 42 hours... in the scalp instead how much (Hours) remains lowered?

He is actually asking if the low levels of serrum dht due to a single dose of finasteride after 48 hours are indicative of low follicle dht levels.

He is basically thinking of going EOD I suppose, which is not a good move unless you are experiencing side effects.

Exact, I have read that many assume Finasteride any other day , I wanted to know if the dht it remains low also on the scalpo beyond that on the blood..

A lot of time a go I have had side effects (sexual) using Finasteride (1 mg x day) after 4 years.

I don't think there's any reason to think the hair follicle DHT remains lower longer than the serum DHT.

Why not just use 0.5mg every day instead of 1mg EOD?

Its usually better to keep hormone levels stable rather than having variations.
