Hey, so I have this modest thinning spot in my crown and my dermatologist said that it could be because my crappy blood test results so I took what I needed and now my blood results are OK and it's been a month since fixing that iron and folic acid shortage in my blood. I'm not losing hair now and I wasn't losing hair even for the last year but the thinning area is still thin, I don't think there's any improvement at all. I understood that Minoxidil promotes hair growth in the crown area but taking a pill everyday sounds easier if it would promote hair growth in my crown also..
Although I'm not losing hair (now at least), could 1 mg of finasteride promotes hair growth in my crown area? Or I should just stick to Minoxidil which seems like a pain in the *** but it's a good hair growth stimulator for sure?
I'll give my hair another 3-4 weeks so I could say that I fixed my vitamin shortage and waited a month and a half for my hair to get better, but if it won't improve by itself I'd like to start medicating.
Another question, is there anybody here who has any creative idea about how to cut a Fincar pill to 5 pieces?
