So I just received my first order of Dr. Lee's #500 Minoxidil 5%. This is the first hair loss product I have ever used. I'm 27 and over the past couple of years have noticed a bit of thinning in my temple and crown areas.
When I went to apply the solution this morning I noticed right away that it was very thin, so thin that it ran down my head when applying it to my temples and down my forehead (don't want to grow more hair on my forehead lol). What is the BEST way to apply it?
I felt that when I applied it and quickly went to rub it in with my fingers that all I was doing was wetting my hair with the solution rather than it all going to my scalp. I know a bit did get absorbed/applied in the area as I did feel a little tingling afterwards :dunno:
Also, I was going to order some Finsateride from inhouse pharmacy. Should I order/take that right away or wait a few months and see how I respond to the Minoxidil by itself? When I do take Finasteride should I split the tablets in half so I will be taking .5mg daily instead of 1mg? I've seen threads/studies on here saying that .5mg is just as good as the full 1mg
