9th month update ******pix******

I have been on Propecia 1mg for about 9 months and a week. I use Nizoral about twice a week. I also use T/Gel and Pantene Pro V usually every other day. I have no sides other than water semen and the occasional massive load of semen about twice a month. I don't really have any complaints about propecia. I just want to know if you guys think I have made progress over the past couple of months. I will answer further questions if you have any. I have been losing hair for about five years.

It's hard to tell but it looks like the front got a bit thinner by month seven, but started to look thicker by month 9. Keep it up

It looks like you got ticker hair now, but the light is different in the pictures from before and the ones form now.

But a good thing is that you stoped your hairloss, right?

Also, did you notice any sheds during this 9 month period?

Another one, will not that gel for hairstyle harm the hair or the treatment?

Do you apply the hairstyle gel every day?

I have not noticed any sheds since I have been on Propecia. I usually notice about 10 - 20 hairs shed in the shower. I did not use gel in these pictures. I just wet my hair with water and took pictures. I never use gel on my hair. My hair is short enough so I can just get out of the shower and dry it. I am going to cut it to about 7/8s of an inch on top and 3/8s on sides and back.

I agree, but it looks as though your forehead is pretty big, but that could be natural. Overall, great maintenance and thickening both at the top and the sides. Excellent!

Imo the middle front looks the same, temples are worse and the crown has improved a good amount.

Thanks for the replies guys. I do have a naturally big forehead and my ears are kind of pointy.

you have regrowth on the crown.

your front seems thicker in the 9th month pics but i'm not so sure because the lighting is different.

the rest ..temples etc..seem exactly the same, which is good.

perfect maintenance. i only wish i was as good a responder as you were.

have you been losing 10-20 hair throughout the time you were losing hair? or did it decrease to this upon starting finasteride?

I usually don't pay attention to if I am shedding or not, but sometimes I check my hand in the shower after I wash my hair. I believe it has been pretty consistent that I have been losing 10-20 hairs since even before I started finasteride. I don't think finasteride has changed it but usually I just try to ignore it and not check.
